Kids Music Australia is the brain child of Terry Doyle. Terry is a veteran of the Australian music scene and the ten track album MONDO FUN is his first venture into children’s music.
For the passed three and a half years Terry has held a Tuesday night residency at Mondo Café and Bar at the Hilton Hotel in Cairns tropical north Queensland where they conduct the hotel’s very successful Family Nights.
So with the help of long mate, musician/producer, Ian Sanderson and musical colleague, 'The Face-Painting Singer', Rachel Bradley, Terry recorded his first CD of childrens songs in late 2008.
“As I have seven grand children of my own I have found it very easy entertaining the kids on Tuesday nights at the popular Mondo Bar Cafe and Bar at the Hilton Hotel. It was also very easy when I started writing children’s songs as I could road test them on Tuesday nights and the kids helped me fine tune them. The kids loved them and so did the mum and dad's and I thought we had better get this out".
Doyle’s kids songs represent some of the great Australian animals and mammals that are so loved across the world from the cute, but unique, Platypus to the pre-historic crocodile. Already Terry is busy writing new material for a new kids album due out the middle of 2009.
